Dr Paula

Paula first joined the Ultimate Vet team in 2017. After a short break in NSW and maternity leave, she is back to care for your beloved pets. She studied and graduated from the University of Pretoria, Onderstepoort, in South Africa. Paula gained mixed practice experience for two years in South Africa before traveling to England, where she worked in mixed practice for six years. She immigrated to Australia in 2013 and decided to follow her passion by working with small companion animals.

Paula has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and completed the Advanced Surgical course through the University of Sydney in 2017. Her other interests include dentistry and ophthalmology.

Paula is the proud mum of Sasha, her 16-year-old Jack Russell, and has a soft spot for the “golden oldies.” She will always offer advice to help keep your furry friend happy and comfortable in their twilight years. In her spare time, Paula enjoys hiking, running, swimming, and spending time with her family. Her two young girls keep her fit and on her toes!
